Pizza Sales Analysis
An end-to-end SQL Server and Power BI project exploring sales trends, product performance and interactive reporting.
This end-to-end learning project uses SQL Server and Power BI to analyse a pizza sales dataset,
exploring overall sales performance, ordering trends, category and size performance,
and the best- and lowest-performing products.
SQL was used to calculate KPIs and investigate sales patterns, before the data was prepared in Power Query
and used to build an interactive Power BI dashboard with DAX measures. Detailed technical documentation
was created alongside the project to demonstrate my understanding of the analysis and development process.
What This Project Demonstrates:
SQL analysis · KPI development · Power Query · DAX · Interactive reporting · Technical documentation

2. Classic was the highest-revenue category, generating approximately $220K.
3. Large pizzas accounted for the greatest share of revenue, at roughly 46%.
4. The Thai Chicken Pizza generated the most revenue, while the Classic Deluxe led
by quantity sold and number of orders.
